5 Must Have Beauty Products (Drugstore)

Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation:
I’ve spent years trying to find a foundation that actually works for me. One that I’m not patting the access oil off my skin every two hours. (My skin is oily as f*ck) One that lasts through the day and night with minimal touchups. And ladies and gents, I’ve finally found one. This is the best you guys. If you have oily skin, I promise you this is going to last much longer than a couple hours. This foundation is lightweight and holds up to oily skin well without being super dry and matte. (Sometimes matte foundations tend to look caked on my oily skin.) Not only is this foundation lightweight, long lasting, and buildable. It’s affordable. For only $8.59, it’s a steal ya’ll.

Soap and Glory blush in “Peach Party”:
This blush is bomb. Seriously. I wear it almost everyday. It’s basically a blush and highlighter all in one for wayyyy less than both separately at a beauty store. It’s so nice for an everyday go to look. Especially if you’re pinching time and pennies.

Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara:
The OG. I’ve been wearing this since I learned how to properly do my makeup. I’ve tried all sorts of drugstore brands, some I’ve liked others have been letdowns, but regardless I always come back to this one. I always have it in my makeup bag. I like that you can layer it on for glam or just lightly put some on for the “no makeup” look.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer:
This is another one that I use on the daily. I don’t like to pile on makeup when I go to work, or at least look like I do. This concealer gives you a covered fresh looking face while hiding the things you want to hide but still feeling very light on the skin. It’s sponge applicator makes for a no mess easy application that goes on smooth and controlled. You can use it as a medium coverage, or build it to really hide all those unwanted blemishes and under eye circles.

Elf brushes:
Alright, so I feel like when most teenage girls and boys discover makeup they start with the cheapest brushes they can find. Everyone wants to spend more money on the makeup, and who can blame them. I was the same way. But ya’ll these brushes are cheap AND good. I use them all the time still. I have a acquired a variety of brushes over the years but elf is still a top contender in the mix. They’re just that good. They get the job done.

Bonus: Olay Whip, Total Effects
Alright, this isn’t drugstore, but I just had to share this with ya’ll. It’s sooo good. My skin has never been better. It’s clearer, moisturized and brighter. And the best part is, I can literally apply my makeup within seconds of applying this to my skin. It leaves no oily residue and drys matte. Love love love love.
