Happy Friday everyone!
What a weird place in time we are in right now. Our whole world is shut down. It’s Spring, 60 degrees out, and everyone is ordered to stay at home until MAY. What!?
Currently my situation is a lot like most of the world where my job was deemed “non essential” and I’m currently unemployed. At first I was super upset and didn’t know what on earth I was gonna do with myself. But, it didn’t take me long to find the greater good in things.
Once I changed my perspective from “This sucks” to “I get to spend time with my favorite little human on earth” and “I don’t have to wear pants” my entire mood changed.
Oliver just turned 1 two weeks ago and has immediately morphed into a toddler. I swear he just woke up the next day a little destroyer. He’s so fun to hang out with at this age and I can only imagine in the weeks to come how much more fun he will get.
I say it all the time, but I honestly don’t know how on earth I got so lucky and blessed with him. He is truly the happiest, sweetest, and cutest little boy ever.
I’ve been spending most of my days enjoying cuddles, taking long walks, working on new content for my blog, binge watching Blacklist on Netflix, teaching Oliver how to shake his booty, and cooking lots and lots of home cooked meals.
Some things I’m looking forward to in the near future:
- Oliver taking his first steps
- A family road trip
- Lot’s of new recipes for Cup of T
- A HAIRCUT ( I finally understand the “mom cut” now. )
- Summerfest
- Finally finishing decorating Oliver’s bedroom
