Day SEVEN ya’ll! We’re seven days in on 12 Days of cookies! We’re over half way now so I thought it would be a good time to throw in a super fun and cute Christmas cookie. I mean look at these things. They’re chunky little Santa’s. How can you not love these. I saw these cookies on halfbakedharvest.com and immediately thought of what a great addition to a cookie platter these would be and started testing them out.
Hey guys! We’re on day SIX of 12 Days of cookies. That means we’re halfway through! That also means Christmas is less than a week away and I still need to Christmas shop. Yikes. Does anyone else wait until the last minute to buy gifts? I swear every year I’m like “next year I’m buying all my gifts in October and November and not causing a self inflicted anxiety attack”. Then the next year rolls around and it’s six days before christmas and I’ve boughten some slippers and a candy bar in which I ate on the way home. I’ll never learn.
Today is a good day ya’ll. Not only is the week already half over and Christmas just a week away, but I made Chocolate cookies. Not just cookies with chocolate chips, not a chocolate dipped cookie, the whole freaking thing is chocolate and I’m super excited about it, if you couldn’t tell. These cookies are SO GOOD. They’re soft, a little chewy, fudgy, and oh so heavenly. They’re almost brownie like. The outside gets a thin crispy layer while the inside stay super soft and moist.
Happy Tuesday and day four of 12 Days of Cookies! Today is bitter cold and all I want to do is watch Christmas movies and …
Welcome to day three of 12 Days of Cookies! So today we’re going a little out of the box. Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies right? Well think chocolate chip cookies with a twist. Something that when you taste you’ll think, “what is that?” That something? Tahini.
Day two of 12 Days of Cookies is here! Let it be known I’m posting this on day three because, well, yet again, mom life. …
Tis’ the season! 12 days of cookies is here! I’ve been dreaming up these 12 days for over five months now and let me tell you, I’m SO excited. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. Everyone is a little more cheery, the decorations are beautiful, I LOVE giving gifts, and I, obviously, enjoy baking cookies. Over the last couple months I’ve chosen 12 different cookie recipes from holiday inspired classics, traditional cookies with a twist, and easy skill leveled so there is something for everyone. Whether you wanna use all 12 and make a killer cookie gift box for someone ( you should totally do this) or you just wanna choose one, I’m certain you’ll find one you’ll like.
I bet muffins originated when some kids mom wouldn’t let them eat cake for breakfast so they came up with absolutely genius idea to simply bake it a different way, omit the frosting and add a topping. I mean, pretty clever if you ask me. I’m totally down to eat cake any morning. Mornings suck.
I’m going to start this off with a full disclosure: I do not like scones. I think they’re dry and, frankly, overrated. That being said. These scones, these scones are GOOD. If you feel the same way I do (or did) you have to give these a try. We use this recipe daily in the kitchen. People absolutely LOVE them. And when I say love, that’s putting it lightly. People go nuts over these.
